Implant-prosthetic rehabilitation of the upper lateral sectors represents one of the most complex and fascinating challenges in modern dentistry. In this anatomical region, following tooth extractions or long periods of edentulousness, marked pneumatisation of the maxillary sinus is frequently observed, a phenomenon that significantly reduces residual bone availability. This condition often makes the direct placement of implants impossible and therefore requires an operation of sinus floor elevation, performed with a lateral or crestal technique, depending on the clinical indication and the residual bone height.

The course aims to provide participants with a complete and up-to-date overview of the most modern methods of sinus lift, with particular emphasis on minimally invasive techniques that reduce healing time, post-operative discomfort and intra-operative complications. Through the presentation of surgical videos, documented clinical cases and operative images, the various stages of the procedure will be illustrated, from the preparation of the surgical site to the management of the biomaterial and implant insertion, in both deferred and contextual modes.

In the afternoon, the practical part will give participants the opportunity to put into practice what they have learnt, performing breast augmentation techniques on dedicated anatomical models. Each participant will be able to use the SCA Kit and familiarise themselves with all the devices for the correct execution of the protocol.
