When? 31 January 2026 Where? Paderno Dugnano Dental 1 - Dr Mauro Savio Course type: theoretical-practical Rapporteur: Dr. Massimo Corigliano
ACCREDITED ECM COURSE |
The Ozone Therapy in Dentistry course is designed to provide dental professionals with both the theoretical foundations and practical skills necessary for the safe and effective use of ozone in clinical practice. Ozone, a molecule consisting of three oxygen atoms, is an unstable gas with extraordinary antimicrobial and revitalising properties. Used in medicine since the end of the 19th century, it found its way into dentistry during the 20th century, proving to be a valuable adjuvant in numerous therapies, with no risk of allergies or resistance phenomena.
During the course of the day, participants will be guided through the physical and biochemical characteristics of ozone, its general applications in medicine and its specific uses in oral pathology, oral surgery and in the implant-prosthetic and regenerative fields. The programme includes a combination of scientific insights and practical moments, with a live surgery session and application demonstrations, followed by the analysis and discussion of clinical cases to foster interactive learning.
The course will be held by Dr. Massimo Corigliano, DDS, PhD, Specialist in Oral Surgery, author of more than 140 scientific publications and with more than twenty years of experience in ozone therapy. His expertise in restorative and regenerative techniques, combined with his academic role at the University of Sassari, offers participants the opportunity to learn from a professional who combines clinical experience and scientific research.
By the end of the training, participants will have acquired a comprehensive knowledge of ozone therapy in dentistry, the confidence to apply it in different clinical settings and the tools to improve therapeutic outcomes with an innovative, effective and safe approach.
